My avatar shows a skin bug, if i change the hair color, also changes the head skin color, but the body skin is ok.... I can't solve this problem please help

have you tried editing the skin colour after setting the hair?
im not really an expert on system skin/hair. most people use an aftermarket skin texture and prim hair these days.

Ive seen other skins do the same thing; I can tint the face, but not the rest. I have no idea why a skin maker would make such a thing, unless they think their customers are always going to be dressed like it's 1850.

I've had that happen a few times in the past. I think I tried:

*Going in then out of Edit Appearance mode a few times
*Rebaking (Not in world, and mind is a bit foggy so forget exactly which menu or shortcut keys that is)
*Relogging

Generally one or a combo of above eventually helped.

Nasty bug. My wife had this problem before and with her favorite hair. It didn't matter if the hair was tinted or not, just putting it on turned her head purple. Being in edit appearance mode everything looked fine but otherwise, purple head.
I can tell you how we eventually got around it.

Try a diferent hair from a different vendor. If everything is OK, delete ALL hair you have from that vendor. Clear chache. Delete the cache file on your hard drive. Log in. Then clear cach one more time for good mesure. Even then, you may or maynot be able to buy a new copy of the hair that works.

Yes, I know how much that sucks, but I don't know of a fix.
Just deleting that one copy and buying a new one left us with the same bug. We eventually had to get rid of ALL her hair from that vendor because ANY new style she bought had the same bug. No, it is not the creators fault, this is a SL bug and it sucks a great big one when you get it.

Sorry, I really wish I had better news. Maybe someone else has a solution I couldn't find so be sure and keep looking before you delete several thousand L$ worth of inventory.
