Mouse hover info gone

It used to be that when I was in a store, I could place my mouse over an item and I'd get a hover-popup saying what it was, the price, etc. Or I could do the same with a person - put my mouse on them and their name would show in a white bubble momentarily. But those features are gone for me, and have been for about a month now. I'd thought it was just a lost feature in one of the updates, but in talking to a friend, I realized that not everyone has had them disappear. So my question is.... Is there a way to get them back? I looked at my advanced/debug settings and haven't been able to find anything that fixes it. Thank you in advance for any help!  |

Isn't there a way to disable/enable pop-ups in preferences?

I still get them. I am using the Nicolaz viewer so not sure if that is why.

In version 1.18.5, make sure the hovertips are turned on. It is in the view menu about 2/3 of the way down.

View Menu > Show Hover Tips. It's common for this to get unchecked for no reason whatsoever. I have to reselect it once or twice a week.
Edit: Damien1 obviously types faster than I do.
