Transparent Red paint flame someone put on my land-How do I get rid of this?! It is over a water canal on my land. When I try to edit it-you get whatever is under it-ex. land. When I click other peoples objects on land it shows a white circle-tried unsuccessfully to click, but could not. I cannot across the board say return, because past owner owns waves that are on my beachfront.
Please help, thank you in advance!

under view select highlight transparent then you should be easier to click on and select it as long as you have select only my items off

If you enable 'Highlight Transparent' (Ctrl+Alt+T ?) you should be able to right-click it as normal

Houstonian, have you tried turning on "View Transparencies" in the view menu? That may allow you to see the source of the ugly stuff better.
I can't tell from your description - are the flames a texture on a prim, do you think, or are they particles? It sounds to me like they may be particles. In that case, when you view transparencies, you are actually looking for a prim in the area that is glowing red - it will probably be a simple small box or sphere.

If you can manage to drag-select it (Tools | Select by Surrounding) you may be able to right-click it and return or delete it. Or from the editor identify the specific owner and just return all objects of that particular owner.

Qie might be right. In any case, if it's particles, the prim producing them may be under/among the water. In which case you would have to send your camera underwater to select, or turn the waves invisible (Hide Selected, then select the water).
If you post the url for your beach someone from here may be able to drop by and help.

Use the return in about land. Refresh the name of object owners on the parcel, click the name of anyone whose stuff doesn't belong, and click the return button.
