Masquerade?

Anyone know of any masquerades happening in SL? Or any place that is like.. always a masquerade ball? =P I found this wonderful dress and such, and feel the need to show it off..

actually.. does anyone just want to dance? I feel like slow dancing in SL.. but I don't want to go to a club.. I've got the land, and the dance balls =P
EDIt:: wow.. i sou desperate lol.. but none of my friends are online... oh well..

There is a ball room dancing place/club somewhere in SL, I try and find the LM and send it to you

As for masquerade balls, I know there's a few going on as halloweeny events, but the ones I know off are all by invite and paid access. Yes, someone actually sent me an 'invite' for one, all I had to do was buy a ticket for only L1000

You could check events in search or the special attractions forum I guess. Good luck showing off that dress

For everyone else.. I can say that Avilion, the ballroom is simply amazing... initially I thought top 5 places I've evr been to in SL.. that's changed once we made it inside and started dancing.. the whole place is simply.. wow.. my number one place, for beauty and atmosphere ^^ And bonus points, my favorite song is currently playing ^^

Agree Avillion is amazing! When it gets busy though, you'd better be a lover of lagaliciousness, it gets baaaaaaaad.

I'm glad that its a slower time then.. I think the current amount of people is perfect lol... and I've already taken probably 100 snapshots to hard drive.. only 2 to SL though lol... still.. wow o.o I applaud people who do such amazing things

A look at properties for your gown should reveal creator with a link to their profile and hence, picks which should have stores locations.

I shall check out Avilion sometime. Phat's and Cry'n Lion are nice. Red Velvet on MIA has shut though, shame. Purple something I can never remember, also good. White Rose comes up twice, one in Mesopotamia and other place they just expanded also good.

heh, "when it gets busy" . . heh. I was there when there just five other people there and my the lag was bad. A lot more people at Frank's place and it didn't have as bad of a lag as Avillion.

I had absolutely no lag last night, which is odd for me anywhere... and there were I believe 4 other couples dancing, two more walked in while I was there, and there were a few people outside. This is with my render distance at 200m btw (My normal, 100 for super primmed places).



And I did check the creator's profile, but didn't find the place in their picks (Crazy yeah?) But then again.. I was tired...

I remember Bellicima or something similar, and the dress is called the Harlequin's Romance I believe.

Yes, it truely is one of the most detailed and wonderful places in SL and the music is slow but modern too, so guys take your girl there one night, or throw on a tux and meet one there
