I have been away from SL for a while and when I started it up today it said that all adult content must be moved to adult regions by the 15th...

What is this all about? I can't even find a blog entry about this? I have a mature mainland region and I have a couch with pose balls that could be a bit suggestive but are not really sexual...am I ok?

Thanks

You're ok.

Check out https://blogs.secondlife.com/community/features/blog/2009/06/01/adult-content-changes-in-summary, and work your way backwards through the links.

The boundaries are a bit gray and LL have said each case will be looked at in context but very broadly:
NOTHING that might upset ANYONE is allowed in PG areas. Except, possibly, child-avs
'Private' naughtiness is ok in mature sims - keep it in IMs and indoors.
Anything else must go to adult.

Huh?

Name pretty much anything and someone is bound to be upset by it. Why in the world would child AVs ever not be allowed on PG sims though?

I think that was tongue-in-cheek a lot of people don't like child avs and would be happy to AR them wherever they be on the grid. :)

(Its late cause Linden Lab started talking quietly about this in March, now that we are days away from enforcement, they are finally putting notices on the login page)

There are a great many people who never look at the SL web page at all, nor do they pay a bit of attention to the screen log-in screen announcements. Some are sure going to be surprised!
