The Age Verification stuff

Hey guys,
I'm just curious as to how long it usually takes for Age Verif. to go into effect. Also, it it true that putting payment info down is enough, and if so, how would I go about getting Verified that way? I appreciate the help, as I've seen many nightmare posts about this very thing.

In order to visit adult regions, you need to be EITHER age verified OR have payment info on file. So, if you ask with adult regions in mind, payment info on file is enough. If the parcel owner (be it on adult of mature regions) uses the setting that only allows age verified avatars, then you need that aswell.

Age verification is immediate (or it should be, unless something goes wrong). If you're running SL when you age verify, you'll need to log out and log back in for it to work.

To use payment information, just go to your account page on the SL web site and enter it. It should also go into effect immediately, but sometimes does not. If you put payment information on file and your profile in-world still says No payment information on file, you can either file a support ticket to have it corrected, or buy some L$.

Hmm, okay, well, I tried verifying and it said it was verified but still showed the page to verify upon re-entry (essentially showing I was not verified), I also put in payment info, so i should be good. Stuff is still blurred on the search area though. I'm wondering why. Says my payment is on file. Good deal.

It took two weeks for my age verification to be processed.

You need to enable Adult Content in preferences. Under the edit menu, select preferences go to the General tab and change the rating selection.

The age verification is kinda all messed up. It used to tell you if you were verified, now you get the blank form again even if it worked. The only way to know now is to go to a parcel that requires age verification.

However, I thought I'd just add that I verified yesterday and the process was completely painless! I filled in the simple form and submitted it and the verification came through in a few seconds.

I did try to verify before, some time ago, but at that time the form kept asking me to select which state of the USA I live in, which was a bit difficult for me, a non-American! Without selecting a state, it wouldn't let me proceed with the verification. But it's all sorted now, that's the main thing.

i have payment info used and ran into a parcel a few days ago (on mainland) that i couldn´t acces.
when i tryed, sl told me i need to verify my age.

so i was curious and went to zindra. that was no problem, but when i checked the map, all of zindra was set to mature...

seems to be all broken (ya i know thats normal with LL) ^^

i dont plan to give my data to aristotle anyway...

I'm unable to age verify. Not an issue if I want to go to Zindra, although I did get bounced off one parcel I came to close to while horseback riding, for some reason they felt a need to have that setting on.. on Zindra..

Adult regions appear as Mature in viewers older than 1.23. Zindra is set to Adult.
