Web SURLs have stopped working for me, and I think I know why. I just don't know how to fix it. I installed the RC viewer on Saturday, had some really bizarre PC issues, and quickly unsintalled. But clicking "Visit this location" for a web SURL doesn't trigger the bookmark window appearing in the client any more. I know that the SURL always ends up associated with the last install of SL you have done, so this isn't surprising.
If it was a file type, I could use Firefox's Tools>Options>Applications tab to fix it. But I don't know how to associate the secondlife:// with the SL client app. Can anyone help?

They stopped working for a lot of people I think. Even stopped working for me as well...

It is easily fixed though because, as you said, slurl gets associated with the last SL install. I just re installed the 1.20.15 client after installing the RC. However, I'll vote for the JIRA, because I'd like to see it fixed too. |
