Is anyone else having this issue? I just tried logging in and got this. A friend said that SL is kinda sorta down so that might be the case. I found a few threads that mentioned clearing your cache and trying again, but I dont even have the 'preference' button on the log in screen. Just 'Connect' and 'Quit'.
I worry that I've been AR'ed for something so I'm really hoping this isn't just me. I've sent a support ticket, but I don't know how long that will take so I thought I'd ask about it here..

I was able to log in fine after reading this post. Maybe try rebooting your router?
(Gotta say, I'm dying to know what you are did that you are afraid got you AR'd, but I won't ask you to incriminate yourself.  )_____________________

On the newer versions of the client the Preferences option has been moved under the Edit menu option at the top of the screen. Even the login screen now has a menu for some reason.

I dont even have the 'preference' button on the log in screen. At the top left of your log in screen, it should say 'File,' 'Edit,' and 'Help.' Preferences is under one of the first two on newer viewers. _____________________

Also, thanks to those who mentioned the relocation of preferences. I wasn't aware of that. I'll try that too if the router thing doesn't work.  |
