Example: Wych looks like it is owned by one group or person. Does it also cost $1600.00 US to purchase?

It costs however much the current owner wants to charge. Also, new sims at auction frequently cost more than estates.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

mainland sims go by auction so it pretty much comes down to what a person wants/can pay for it
islands are fixed priced _____________________

I noticed in the auction search a mainland sim, however, when I got there it was already owned by somebody. Is LL that slow to react.

LL controls distribution. What are you talking about?
If you mean the website... quite possibly, but Governor Linden owns it all until it's disseminated. Land can be set for sale to a specific person. _____________________

I noticed in the auction search a mainland sim, however, when I got there it was already owned by somebody. Is LL that slow to react. While searching for land last year I found a number of areas on the map (mainland) evidently not yet for sale/auction, however when I went to look most had passed through the auction phase and were now devided and ready for sale (some even sold and with buildings on). Also if you're considering an island beware the map used for selecting your future island location. You may choose a location apparently empty of neighbouring islands, and yet when you get delivery of your island you might find several islands in the immediate vicinity (SL will relocate you if you are unhappy ..as they did with me) The location selection map tends to lag behind the actual SL map by some considerable time (months). This does make selecting a location..a little tricky !!Perre.. ![]() |
