Hi all,

do you know how to see your real life information you entered during the creation of your account?

If you find 'account' on the menu at the top left of the homepage of this SL website, then click the arrow to expand the options, select 'contact information' and it will tell you the email address you used.

You can find other details by looking the change billing options, but you have to re-enter the details once you've opened the page.

I just wish they would put the darn thing back so we could change our RL info. because some of us move and some of us get married in RL, but we have to jump through a set of hoops to get it done and they wont do it over support ticket x.x, anyways thats my input on this

Supposedly you CAN change your RL info if you update your billing information. However I moved a year ago and every time I change my billing address, next time I update the old address is right back in there.

One of the most frustrating things about accounts is the payment information section. If they would only show us which CC is on file without making us DELETE the current one, I would be a very happy avatar. It's like the Billing System blinks and it's in a brand new world.

If I remember searching the web on how to change my account info correcthly, I discovered that, no, you can't change or see it. The billing information is not particularly the RL info you entered to create your account. Think of those without payment info... I believe I remember stumbling over even a Linden not happy that you can't see/change your own info...

I don't even have a billing address on file as far as I know. My account statements do have my real name, but then it just says United States under that without any address. Might be because of what they were and were not requiring at the time I signed up in early 2007.

go create an account via some of the non LL regAPI services. All they ask for is the sl name you want, birthday, and an email address. Those people have no way to enter info other than billing info.
