Well that's the best subject line I could come up with for this problem. When I'm logged on, normally I see the avatar in front of me, facing away from me, a certain distance and at a certain angle, and I see what's in front of her at a certain angle. Today, Windlight keeps changing how that looks, crowding the view right up to the back of her head and the screenview the ground in front of her. I keep messing with the input and camera tab (I no longer know what the defaults are) and I'll get it so I can at least see what's going on, then I'll tp somewhere and it'll be screwed up again. Relogging makes it worse....now my view is right up against the back of her head. This is also the case with a friend's avatar I logged into. I'm so sick of this I'm ready to install another viewer.

Hmm, ok ...
This may not help, but it nevers hurts to know.
"Ctrl 0" (control zero) will zoom in. It is different than moving the camera. In fact the camera position does not move, it just works like a zoom lens. "Ctrl 8" will zoom out. "Ctrl 9" will reset the camera's zoom to normal view.

So try hitting Ctrl 9 then hit escape 3 or 4 times and see if everything doesn't pop back in place.

And if you want to try a different viewer, the GreenLife Emerald viewer is fantastic.

You can also go to the application data folder that has the sl settings and just delete everything there. SL will act like you just installed it but that should clear all settigs. Try the ctrl-9 first.

Thank you both.
