But you do you tier DOWN? You sell land and the bills will decrease? Or is it necessary to take some action to notify LL you don't intend to use the surpluss tier any more?
I am not asking this for myself, I just tiered up (again).

I only have experience in tiering UP. That is easy: You buy more land and you are billed more each month.
But you do you tier DOWN? You sell land and the bills will decrease? Or is it necessary to take some action to notify LL you don't intend to use the surpluss tier any more? I am not asking this for myself, I just tiered up (again). ![]() _____________________

If the land is group owned and the tier is through a contribution you have to make sure you remove the contribution as well as sell the land....

You have to allow the next billing cycle to pass before you can tier down if the land was sold within that billing month.
It is good to remember that even if you have your tier set at say the $75 range, you will only be billed at the tier level of which you own land. So even if you have your tier set to that rate, if you only own say 2k sqm in land you would only pay the appropriate tier. There is no real need to tier down other than removing temptation. ~B |
