Last night I was working on Christmas presents and had just put in animations for a Christmas muff.

I dropped it to reset scripts and rename it and when I did this SL crashed.

I logged back into SL and my object was no where to be seen.

I started receiving messages that say:
Object: Unknown animation state ''

I went looking for it but could not find it.

Logged out for the night.

Opened my email this morning and had 823 email messages that said:
The object 'Object' has sent you a message from Second Life:
Unknown animation state ''

= Object is owned by Emeriselle Theas
= http://slurl.com/secondlife/Asagao/0/-1/0

It is on the other half of my island so I messaged one of the managers and they returned all my objects from their side since this link shows up over there. It did not work. It is still embedded somewhere under the ocean and I can not see it or highlight it.

What do I do? It keeps messaging me about 2x/second.

The island owner does not see anything of mine over there.....
I can not find it or highlight it or even get down to the level the SLURL shows.

Ideas? Fixes?

Fixed by a most amazingly nice soul (leaving nameless in case she doesn't want to get bombarded by techinical questions)

Thank you very much.

Tp'ed there and saw the object in the sim corner. All you generally have to do with objects stuck in a sim corner is to "Right-click / Edit" them and they'll auto-return on their own when the sim realizes the item went off-world, which it did :).

A parcel return won't catch it since the object is effectively "off-world" and not part of the parcel.

If it ever happens again, you can use "Client / Disable Camera Constraints" to cam under the land, or uncheck "Client / Rendering / Type / Surfacepatch" to stop rendering the land and simply "Edit" it (anyone can make it auto-return, doesn't have to be the item owner).
