We are thinking about purchasing a land security bot and see so many different kinds and costs. Can anyone there recommend a good one at a fair price? Also, it must be copyable.

hipposecure from Hippo technologies. There is a new version coming soon to fix a bug that is caused by SL for parcels near the edges of sims - I have the beta, and the update should be out soon.
I should mention that the control box is networkable with other control boxes, and you can define rectangular regions to scan. So, theoretically, you can have different boxes scan different rooms inside a house, at different levels (black list only, ban all, etc.) _____________________

A bot is an avatar controlled by a program (as opposed to a person). It sounds like you are in the market for a scripted object (or set of objects) that does security.

For security systems try the SexyTech stuff, cheap and does the job.
The gal who runs it is super sexy too  Hahah, seriously she's a doll and could probably come up with something custom if you had specific needs. A script whizz kid. There's a sexytech store at XoW Mall. _____________________
