I went and made a big mistake today :( I ended up putting a light script in one of my products that I'm working on. Well after seeing it I didn't like the look so I decided to remove the script but the light is still coming from the object. Is there anything I can do to shut this off? I tried copying the prim without the script in it and still the light follows the new object. The script is no modify so I can't mess with it that way either.

Is it "full bright" or "light"?

Right click, edit the item. Go to the "Features" tab, is "Light" turned on? If so, uncheck the box and see if that fixes it.

If it isn't that, go to Texture and uncheck the "Full Bright" box, and see if that fixes it.

If that doesn't fix it... not sure, sorry.

No it isn't full bright or light. Just a green light coming out of it from a script I had put in to it. I took the script out cuz I didn't like the look of it but that didn't stop the green light it's still there with no script in the object.

if it was a particle script removing the script doesnt work, open a new script in the object. Then run the new script and will have no particles.

default {
state_entry()
{
llParticleSystem([]);
}
}

Sounds like particles to me.

Remove the script from the prim, click "new script" in the prim contents, open the new script, delete everything in it and paste in the following:

default {
state_entry()
{
llParticleSystem([]);
}
}

Then, click save and close it.
Then delete the new script from the prim.

Depending on what you're talking about, light is a property of the object. You can adjust an object's light properties on one of the tabs in the edit window. Many object properties (for example, floating text) are actually part of the object even if they can only be created or removed by a script. If you used a script to turn it on, you should be able to edit the script and use it again to shut it off.
