You can't live chat a griefing?

 so it appears my neighbor is being griefed which in turn is particle spamming the entire peninsula and possibly the world haha I did an abuse report, had my assistant do the same, then went to live chat to report and get it gone away ASAP (I don't want my customers to have to look at it). And live chat info says for griefing, you don't use live chat, you file an abuse report. Well I can understand the typical griefing complaint, but when the area is being swallowed by ''Get an Abortion" particle spam? How would one escalate an AR like this?

Unfortunately you do not escalate it. You report it and hope they pick your AR that day.
BTW, if you have not already, track the source object for the particles and AR that. You can get a general idea where it is coming from by looking at the particle flow, then turn off particles in the advanced menu and I think there is a beacon for particle emitters. The object is probably spinning or is otherwise obvious.

Yup some months ago I went to live chat about a griefing incident and was told to submit a ticket. To be fair the ticket was responded to in about fifteen minutes.

well, I did find the emitter(s) and did the report on them when I reported. I don't know what happened...they disappeared now (yay). I didn't see any Lindens on my mysti but they poofed, at the same time my friend was attempting to godmode them away, and we aren't really sure exactly why they disappeared...he says if he gets banned for godmoding them it was nice knowin ya lol

Maybe a Linden dealt with it. They can set themselves to not show on radars.

I ARed particle spam before and a Linden arrived in minutes though didn't notice at first as they don't show on radars. I only realised when the particles disappeared and looked up to see a floating Linden quite high up.

yes it had to be a Linden because I convinced my friend to go over and try godmodding away a rocket on the trash dump that is my other neighbor's parcel (that neighbor has apparently left SL and left build on and return off..ugh) and it didn't work  ETA: in case anyone was thinking of squatting on the neighbor land, its full lol

My experience for particle and prim spammers is AR with a good screenshot and a Linden will be there in under two minutes. (^_^)
... Half the time, they land on my head. (._.)

Stuff like that is why I like having land in a private estate. Estate owner would get rid of that asap, and ban the culprits in about 600 sims, immediately. |

Yea but I love my mainland shop, I've been there a year and a half and I'm a sentimental old thing  It only took Lindens about 15 minutes to show up and clean it up, and it was made by an obvious alt (blank profile).

I know....I was very sentimental about my mainland pieces, too. I sold them all, but never changed my "home" setting there.....and get teary-eyed, every time I use the go "home" function, and land there. |
