Choice of login pictures

One of the new login screen pictures is of a nice scene with a humpbacked wooden bridge. However it has a bad alpha-sort-bug artefact in the middle of the bridge, and an excessive blue cast that makes it look like cheap 1940s colour film (at least on my system). Does anyone agree with me that this is a strange choice to show off the qualities of our favourite platform? Or is it maybe just being honest? Others are much better.

I just wish they list somewhere on the picture the location of where it was taken.

I agree. I have seen some great pics but no clue where the locations are.

Especially for newbies (ok us oldies too), it will give them a directed place(s) to visit and explore.
