Hello to everyone!
I'm interested in trying to find a blog site where I can talk and show products I make for SL. I've done a search for blog sites related to SL but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Is there a blog site that's SL specific, where content creators can get a blog and show their work (as opposed to getting your own domain and building a website from the ground up)? If anyone can help point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it! Thank you  ~Six |

yes I like wordpress - only thing is you are not allowed to advertise.

Yes, rather than using someone else's blog I would definitely recommend starting your own.
We use Blogger for ours (owned by Google - you can use your Google ID for it if you have one). Pretty easy to use, too (heck, even I can use it!) _____________________

Another choice is Blogger. They will let you advertise, and you can post what you like to your heart's content. If you have some HTML/XML under your belt you can configure the templates as you like, but it's plug-n-play and no technical know-how is needed to set up and maintain a blog. _____________________

A bit confused. They are talking about using WP on your own hosted service, which is where it really shines. If you are using a freebie blog on the WP site, you cannot advertise anything. _____________________

If you're interested just send me your email in-world or leave a comment on the website and I'll add you as author. The site is syndicated on a much larger fashion blog, so you'd definitely get exposure there.
My site: http://www.iheartsl.com (anybody is welcome to blog here, we have over 100+ authors) The biggest SL fashion site: http://fashionplanet.worldofsl.com (syndicates a TON of blogs..) All other SL-related non-fashion blogs are syndicated here: http://planet.worldofsl.com You can always make your own too, which is an excellent suggestion but you'll need to get exposure to it somehow. I would recommend wordpress.com over Blogger, it has more features and works better on syndicated sites. |
