Landing Point, how to?

I'm a bit in the dark here. I am a new private island owner, but I'm a bit confused about how to set tp landing points for the lands and the sim itself.

On the sim I have three areas/lands:

1. Main shop (biggest parcel)
2. Secundairy shop
3. Private area

When someone types my sim name in the Map and tp's, he arrives at the exact center point of the sim. Unfortunately that is a piece of water I created there lol. So I want to move that point a few meters ahead to the reception area of my Main shop. But I still want to have seperate landing points for the three lands on the sim AND people should be able to tp freely anywhere in the sim.

As you can see from this posting, I'm confused about how to combine all these things. To sum things up, I want:

- Set a specific landing point for the entire sim (when people search it in the Map)
- Set specific landing points per land (so 3 seperate landing points)
- While still having free tp's enabled

Hmm, I hope I make sense here. Thanks for your help.

A landing point overrides free tp'ing to that parcel and sim teleport routing would override landing points on all parcels on that sim.

You can get 1 and 2 by simply setting a landing point for whatever parcel is at 128, 128. Or if that's not something you want, you can probably fake it by carving out a tiny parcel around 128, 128 - probably would take a 64m² to make sure you get it right - , join it with another tiny - 16m² - parcel somewhere else on the sim (would take some juggling with an alt to join the two disconnected pieces and then "sell" it back to yourself) and set the landing point on the disconnected piece that isn't at the center of the sim.

Landing Points functional?

The landing point on a parcel of ours seems to have become nonfunctional sometime during the last couple of weeks. Have double and triple checked that the landing point
is set correctly. Have others noticed set landing points being nonfunctional? And, if not,
any ideas as to what we have missed would be helpful (I really have set landing points
a million times without problems - and it's not hard - so I don't know what we could be
overlooking).

Mine still works when set.

Landing points don't effect TPing others in, TPs to Home, or logins, maybe that's what you're noticing, is those seeming to be normal TPs overriding the landing point?

Also doesn't affect the land owner, or owner(s) of the land owning group.

There is an estate landing point, I think, that will override parcel landing points. Try clearing that.
