Ooh... Environment Editor

What the heck is that?

Was getting ready to add a little daylight and clicked on that instead..what does one do with it?

Then I got an Advanced Sky Editor .... hmmm what is all this folks?

Play around with it. There are presets that LL has made..........mostly not good though.
Play with the sliders and see what they do. You won't change anything permimently and if you get lost just click on the "default" preset and your back to normal. If you find you made a light setting you like just save it with a new name.........and you can choose it anytime you want.

The presets and saved "scenes" don't carry over from log in to log in.......you have to manually select it each time you log.

And you also have water you can play with

These presets and peoples presets they have made will soon be tradable assets, just like notecards/sounds/objects etc are now

so if u make a killer sky/water preset and save it, sometime in the next few weeks u can show ur freinds or even sell them

OMG you don't know~!!! lol Whoa dude.....that is where you can do all kinds of amazing stuff~!

I just gave a sort of crash course on it to a girl that IM'd me....I'd be happy to do the same for you. It's a bit easier in-world to explain and walk someone through the processes. The girl I helped was absolutely dumbfounded at what it did for her viewer and really, it's surprisingly easy once you know what it can do.

Yeah, I noticed that a few days ago...it's gonna be real good for Machinima! I found it by accident & was pretty surprised @ how good somma the effects look...I think the "Pirate" pre-set was pretty good, but they are really gonna help folks make some crazy snapshots & Machinima
