Hi! Appearently LL is messsing around again. For no reason I can't sell any L$ to my Paypal account. This is my first time and I wanted to sell 1.000L$ for testing. Here is the message: We are unable to complete your request. • This transaction would exceed your daily trading limit by US$3.49. Your daily trading limit is US$0. • The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again. Does that make sense? Thx for your help  tw

Basically it`s not letting you sell L through the lindex, nothing to do with your paypal.
Go to your account page, on the left hand colum one of the links says "Billing and trading limits." Click that; what are your limits set on?

LL recently changed the way trading tiers work and it's now based on your first billing date, rather than account age. You have "Payment Info on File" which means you've never had a billing date so that's why you're at the 0-1 day resident limit I'd guess. You can try and contact billing but from other threads it seems all they do is reply with an automated message highlighting the change, calling in seems to have a better chance assuming you can reach a live person. Bet on both sides and just buy a negliable amount of L$ right now to get your billing date established, and if you can't sort things out with billing you'll be able to sell L$ in 28 days at least. (Edited to add that you can sell $300 US worth of L$ in the 14 to 27 days category)

I'm in the same boat. Changes in the last three weeks have put me on 0-1 day account. I have no need to buy Linden $$ as my creations sell well. It would be upsetting for me even after verified my account with a credit card to be put into this boat.
Phone calls to the USA support number after long hold times put me through to voice mail. I don't hear back. I dont' hear back form using their jira.secondlife.com support system. I don't hear back from using their request a review system either.
It's all very frustrating.

Just found out the same thing...
This is really not nice! I have a Premium Membership, just payed the 2nd 3 Month Period for it, so 6 month Premium for me, i was here before SL hit the 2 Million Mark, and it says i am a 0-1 Day Resident and may only buy Lindens for 10$ and not sell with the Lindex?!?!?
And it is intended to be like this? I Filled out this Limit-form because i thought that is some kind of mistake here...
Guess i have to use some other service to sell my Lindens then... and, is it right canceling Premium costs 10US$? Well i don't have those in my account, as i cannot sell Lindens, and i also don't have 10$ in my Paypal... so if i cancel Premium my account will be closed i guess?

Wow, what an annoying change. I mean, it doesn't affect me, but I can see this pissing off a lot of people. For now though do what Kitty said and just make a minimum buy to start the clock.

Ah good... then i think i will be basic soon. I already tried to downgrade, i payed Premium untill July 21, but it says i have to get rid of my land before i can downgrade... I just don't have to forget the date then i think... and i bought 200L$ and now have to wait for the Limit to increase, well maybe filling out the form does the trick too, but you never know...

Unless they've fixed it in the past few weeks, there is/was a bug that prevents downgrading accounts from being able to buy any kind of land, include private sim land.
If you're going to cancel your premium in advance of the due date and you're planning to move to a private sim, buy the private sim parcel before you actually start to downgrade or you might not be able to until you're back to Basic.

It's all very frustrating. I can't believe they haven't fixed this yet for everyone. I had mine fixed on the 24th when I finally got through the lines to talk to someone. It took them ONLY 30 seconds to fix once someone actually fixed it and took it off the 0-1 day account.

u need not to make a phone call, i ever got this kind of problem, just write serveral emails to billing department, and Be patience, I see that my limit is increased almost twenty days later..
