I must have done something strange because now I cant see some things I normally could
I have a cane that shoots fire, i cant see it. I have a "pee" animation and cant see that where i could in the past.
Ive changed maybe a debug setting I shouldnt have or something. Even with my graphics high and particles over 4000 particle count nothing.
I am running Emerald viewer. Does anyone have any ideas?

A few things can do that.
Make sure that Advanced->Rendering->Types->Particles is enabled.
Make sure that Advanced->Rendering->Attached Particles is enabled.
Preferences->Graphics, with Custom checked, make sure that Max. Particle Count is not zero.
Double check your mute list, and make sure you aren't in there. It's not that easy to mute yourself but it's possible.

Check, too, View -- Beacons, and make sure "Hide Particles" isn't checked.

Ive checked all of the suggestions and still nothing is working.
Everything is checked or unchecked as it should be. Sigh
