Hi, Can anyone tell me how can I study in SL? Is there any university offering business education in SL? I have a masters in computer applications and I wish to do some business education using SL as a medium because due to the job I am not able to opt for a real world regular program.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe not as structured as you would like, but yes, there are schools inworld. Check the events guide. There are weekly groups for all sorts of things. And many schools do have sims. It is doubtful you are going to find exactally what you are looking for based on real world experiences. But support these groups, they come and go so fast. If you find one of interest drop in on a meeting, and you may even want to try and teach yourself. You seem to have a backgroupd that may interest some.

Be sure that the course you take meets your goals or prospective employers' expectations. Most important are the acceditations of the training your choose.

A certificate from an accredited real-world college looks a whole lot better than Bob's School of Biz in Second Life. In part because Second Life itself isnt' exactly getting top marks in the press for being a professional environment right now.

A huge number of quality colleges world-wide offer online courses using well-designed interfaces and quality evaluation of course outcomes. A few offer this in Second Life, but for the sake of your resume and the quality of your education, I'd start with schools that offer credible, respected credentials using methods that employers can understand.

Look for courses that are instructor-led and offer a variety of learning styles (reading, group work, projects, live chats, etc), not just something you scan through and answer multiple-choice quizzes to get your cert generated.

Even if the best course in the world existed in Second Life, it just won't have the same credentials (i.e. less likely to impress an employer) as a brick and mortar college.

Just my two cents, speaking from experience
