Hello, Since installing Vista SP1, by both download and windows update, has anyone noticed a dramatic decrease in speed and performance when running SL? (and generally of the PC as a whole). Best Wishes

I run Vista in "Classic Mode" and haven't had any problems so far - SL runs great. However I will wait to download SP1 if there is a performance hit.

I wasn't aware SP1 was even out... I've certainly not had any nagging pop-ups telling me that updates are waiting to be downloaded.

I believe SP1 for Vista was available for download as of yesterday. I'm still sticking with XP.

From: Broccoli Curry I wasn't aware SP1 was even out... I've certainly not had any nagging pop-ups telling me that updates are waiting to be downloaded. Hello, Vista owners who 'might' have driver compatability problems with SP1 will not be notified of SP1 through Windows Update as of yet. I was notified by Windows Update, and have also downloaded the SP1 installer.
