Hello, I was dancing in a club and someone made me "hovering" over the dance floor. It looked same as you click click on the "fly" button. Hovering just a bit over the dance floor while I was actually standing. I pushed the "fly" twice - but still same. It stopped and started - so I was sure it was someone playing with me. How can I find out who makes this?

try ctrl-alt-T to highlight invisiprims, to see if maybe there is an invisible floor (or object) interfering with the particular location you happen to be standing at. (pardon the dangling preposition at the end)

Also, under the Help menu, there's some option to show who's Bumped/Pushed you recently. If somebody hit you with a scripted object, it _might_ show up there.
You sure it wasn't just lag?

Also.....did you accept an object from anyone......or an animation invite? That may have been the cause too.....but nothing you've said really points to a griefer, it could just as easily been an animation glitch from a dance or AO you were using. Did you teleport out of club to see if it stopped? Or relog? And just a note of warning.....never ever accept an item from a stranger.....

From: 3Ring Binder try ctrl-alt-T to highlight invisiprims, to see if maybe there is an invisible floor (or object) interfering with the particular location you happen to be standing at. (pardon the dangling preposition at the end) it fits since the OP was dong a bit of dangling...

If you think someone may be deliberately attacking you, try this:
- look around for a suitable surface and right click and select "sit". If you sit on something you cannot be pushed or knocked - the "sit" sort-off anchors you in place.
You can then investigate what's happening and look at the "Bumps, Pushes and Hits", highlight transparent, open up the lag meter etc.
Just don't jump to conclusions because there may be an innocent reason for what happened.

Were you using your own animations or did you click on a dance ball? If you chose the clubs dance ball, some clubs put in a flying animation. I go to one that regularly does that. I just click on the dance ball again and choose a difference dance.

If you were using a danceball from the club alot of them have dances that lift you above the dancefloor for a dance, high above it. sure it wasnt that? EDIT: should of read the above post before I posted this

Sometimes when the AO you are wearing interferes with a particular dance, it does strange things. It can make you look like you are hovering, and/or your legs kind of twitching at strange angles.
Remove AO next time before you click the dance ball or wear a chim and see if it helps.
