Is it possible for a mall shop to show up in the places search?
Thx S

Sure. Stand in your rented booth, and take out a classified ad. It will show in Search.

One key trick about renting malls is that a vast majority of them don't allow direct teleport to your shop. I refuse to get a shop in a mall like this because no one is ever going to take the LM I give them, beam into the hub and then wander around trying to find my shop.
Before renting mall space, see to it that it allows TP right to your location - or has some sort of directory at the entrance where you can place your sign that will then TP people right to your shop.
Most malls don't have it set up so that you will show in search either. A few do - but it requires the mall owner to subdivide all their land and it doesn't allow for them to have more than one story (level) of shops - because another shop would be above or below you that would get the same parcel description.
So - yep. Classified Ads are about your only choice there. But if people can't beam right to your shop (and you're not clearly visible from the beam in spot) you are really only paying to bring potential buyers to the shops that CAN be seen from that entry point.

Turning on show in places on the parcel would also cost the mall owner another 120 a month too.

If you stand in your store and add it to your pics in any form...it will also show as a separate entry in all search....as will anyone else who makes your shop a pic. i have never had an issue with rentals that dont allow direct tp...its easy enough to work around it. for example...in your pic or classified or anything else you do, ALWAYS type the directions to your location from the landing spot. works great.
