I've got a problem
I am building an av, but i can't get them to attach to the right spot.
Do i need to script them to attach to the right part?
For instance, i want my foot in the middle of a prim, but it goes to the edge

Not being 100% sure what you mean.. but - did you try after attaching whatever to where ever, moving it about while in edit mode? Try that way and you should also use a pose stand so your body stays still while you adjust the pieces. Good luck.

Yes... I think that's probably what the problem is. Just because you choose an attachment point doesn't mean the prim is going to sit exactly the way you want. You need to get on a pose stand.....attach the pieces to the points you want them......then.....edit each piece and adjust it's exact positioning. Once you do that.....detach the piece.....and attach again. This will insure that it saves your editing in exactly the position you want.

Wear it, right click and choose Edit, then position (in your case, move the prim so your foot is in the middle of it). Leave Edit, then detach the prim, and it should return to the same spot when you wear it again. edit: whoops, what Milla said.

You can adjust attachments without using a pose stand - I've never used one. It's just that without the pose stand you tend to be moving a bit, even at rest, so it's sometimes a bit more difficult to right-click attachments to edit them. Once you have right-clicked an attachment, your avatar freezes until you come out of 'edit'.
