The knowledge base says that while m3u format is not supported, PLS format is. I can't get it to work. Any clues? Is the knowledge base simply wrong?

OK, looked again and it says it doesn't support any playlist type.
It does say this: "Can I play my own MP3s in Second Life? The answer is yes, if that MP3 is a parcel's music URL, found under About Land > Media tab. This means to hear it, you or another Resident must be present on your parcel and have music streaming turned on (done from Preferences > Audio & Video tab). .M3U playlist files won't work, but valid .PLS streams will. Also see "How to play streaming music in Second Life". Knowledgebase or Bullshitbase? And sheesh, wouldn't this be an easy thing to support? ah well thanks anyway |
