For the first time ever I have just Tp'd home and ended up with EVERY attachment up my arse! grrr, I'v had the occasional problem but never every single attachment. This was in the nicholaz viewer though. I thought this was supposed to be fixed in this one?
Does anyone know if it is supposed to be fixed or not? if not, is there another one where it is fixed?
I'm on the Nicholaz bleeding edge viewer - 1.18.5 (3).

I think that this is not because you use this version, it's internal thing of SL client. I think also, that we developed new word - "assttachment"

I've been using the 1.18.5 (3) Nicholaz viewer since it came out and never had attachments where they shouldn't be . To be fair, I haven't had it in an official viewer for a good while either. I think the point about the Nicholaz viewer is not that it works perfectly, but that generally it works better than the official one. Given the state of SL lately I suspect it's just one of those things.

From: Cunundrum Alcott Does that viewer run well on slower machines or? It fixes a memory leak which I would have thought would help if you have a slower machine, but I'm not techy enough to know for sure.

From: Claire Silverspar .... ended up with EVERY attachment up my arse! Wouldn't it be hilarious if this actually happened randomly in Real Life? Like when you walked into work in the morning? "Morning everybody .... oooof!" It would be particularly eye opening for me as I commute to work on a bike and so one of my RL attachments is a motorcycle helmet.

lol Sandy. That would hurt. Especially as the amount of crap in my bag is ridiculous. My huge bunch of keyrings and a few keys could get dangerous.... I suppose I will just put it down to having a bad SL day. At least I was only TPing home and not to a very public place - my skirt went a bit wonky

From: Cunundrum Alcott Does that viewer run well on slower machines or? It does in my experience at least. Was a major improvement on the official ones. Claire, are you running Nic's BE-v? Coz that's the one that should have sorted it out? .

I think so Sally. It says BE-u when the window is open and on the welcome screen it says 1.18.5 (3).

That's the one in which he reckons he solved the attachtment issue. http://nicholaz-beresford.blogspot.com/2007/12/release-bleeding-edge-be-v.htmlRuns on top of the same LL release 1.18.5 (3). Hope it helps .

From: Claire Silverspar For the first time ever I have just Tp'd home and ended up with EVERY attachment up my arse! First time?!? Feel lucky! I have found it does not matter which client is used(in my case) it just happens. A relog usually clears it up. It's just one of those annoying pain in the arses.

From: Cunundrum Alcott Does that viewer run well on slower machines or? I run it on a 700mhz machine with crap vid card and can stay online 24hrs+ (yay for memory leak fixes) but then I also have my system very fine tuned, no extra MS garbage running that does need to, no inane auto loaders or background tasks sucking up memory (only 384Mb on this rig), teaked drives (one specifically devoted to temp and page file to keep the others from being chewed to bits) and a few other performance tweaks. YMMV

From: Cunundrum Alcott Does that viewer run well on slower machines or? It does for me. Up until last week I was using the Old School Non Voice, 18.0. I decided to try 18.5. It was slower and crashed a bit. I put in his bleeding edge viewer, it is a bit more stable. The Old School still seems a bit quicker to me, so I may go back to it.

At work I've been using Sleek to stay in touch. The system is not that great plus I have email and whatever else running. It kinda sucks not being able to see anything

I'm on the Nicholaz bleeding edge viewer - 1.18.5 (3). LOL I just came on to ask if anyone else running the Release Candidate Viewer was suffering from boot-on-butt syndrome. It's only since I downloaded the latest version of the RC, that this once-familiar bug has reappeared. That seems to answer my question - it's not just the RC. It's baaaaack.

It's baaaaack. No, even worse I got the dreaded Head up the Butt the other day. Most frightening.

ok, i will try and update when i have time. Sounds liek it does help, even if it is just a bit.
lol brenda, I have a few problems with that sort of thing too. I think I need exorcising or something, When I was adjusting my bracelet on my pose stand, My head was slowly spinning all the way round, over and over again. It look super freaky lol. I should have got a pic. I also have problems when I am dancing where my avvie folds her self in half lol. And she attacks others too.
She's psychotic i tell you.
