Someone has rezzed a gigantic megaprim covering all the island I own a parcel on at about 30 meters high. Edit won't tell me who the owner is.
Does anyone know how to tell who owns the blasted thing and more importantly, how do we get rid of it.

even when it wont load the owner of a object, if you hit report abuse on the pie menu it will fill in the report with the object owners name

Also, in the Tools menu, make sure you don't have "Select only my object" checked.

If you OWN the land there (you pay rent/tier to Linden Labs):
Right click on it and select "edit", then look in the "general" tab, the owner of the item should be shown there. Right click on the ground and select "about land" and in one of the tabs of the about land menu, you can return objects owned by others if the object is mostly on your side of the property line. If it is mostly on someone else's land (in other words it won't show on your About Land menu), you will need to send an IM to the owner of the object and ask them to remove it. If you cannot get a response any other way, or the person refuses, then you will have to file an AR (Abuse Report) against the person, this is in one of the dropdown menus in the SL client program. If you RENT land on a private estate (you pay rent/tier to someone other than Linden Labs): (it sounds like maybe you do) it would be better to contact your landlord and let him/her take care of the problem for you, that's their job.
