I just noticed on top of the viewer next to the time they've changed "SLT" to "PDT". Did this change awhile ago and I'm just unobservant or is this new?

I live in the US pacific time zone, yet I find it more convenient in SL to refer to SLT. Anyone have any idea why they changed it?

It changed back on

Release Notes for Second Life 1.12.1(12) September 27, 2006
=====================================
Other changes:
* Updated Mac custom cursor file format and API
* Alt-Shift-H (Windows) / Opt-Shift-H (Macintosh) hides HUD Attachments
* Clock labelled as Pacific Time (previously SLT)

==============================================

They changed it because they're mean. Every single one of them.

No, that's not plausible. Umm, someone got a notion to change it, so he did.

That's plausible.

That doesn't make sense. The blog states the change took place in September of 2006. I became a member in April 2007 and it was SLT from then until recently.

Now I'm so confused. :confused:

Well perhaps new people couldn't work out where the SLT time zone was in the reall world :)
Damn I want the date there too, it's dam confusing being 18 hours in the future. I'm contantly missing events and parties by 24 hours

*snickers* SLT.. PDT.. same thing, just different clothing. I agree, the date would be a good thing, because some of us actually run the client in full screen and we're lazy!

I want SL not PDT!! I virtually live in SL damn it not California, have to think in GMT/PDT for my real life work.

AND I want Find back. No I don't use Linux but I liked Find not Search.

and I am well aware that this is unreasonable nitpicking which will be ignored :)

On a screenshot I took and saved on 2/18/2007 it is PST :eek:

I joined December 2006 and I don't recall I've seen anything but PST (or currently PDT) :confused:

Shakeshead again No, as it says............SLT TO PST same time silly Second Life Time PST or Califoria Time........

It use to be PST instead of SLT but For some odd reason LLABS believed that SLT was MOre understandable? :confused: Now they changed it back from SLT to PST.

For those that are new members it used to be PST and NOT always SLT........ The oldies people knows this.
