Login problems

I'm having real problems logging in. It tells me that it's logging me out and I will not be able to log back in until XX time (usually about 3-4 minutes hence). If I wait and try again I get the same message with another short wait, then again and again. I've tried deleting the cache, removing my avi from the library so it rebuilds.In desperation I created a new account using a disposable email account and tried that...I logged in first time with no problems.

Someone please help. I've logged a ticket (yesterday) but no reply yet.

PS I can also access my account at the SL website and have bought $L (before I realised I couldn't log in).

Has this problem been solved yet? My suggestion would be to try a different sim, or region, as opposed to your home location.

Hi, no it's still not resolved and it's very frustrating. I've tried starting from Home and Last place visited but no joy. I have $L and can't get rid of them or transfer them to my new 'other self' I created to attempt to log in (I can still log in with that avi btw). No response from my support ticket...oh and of course now I can't add funds to my 'new self' because it's the same card/address. All in all a pain in the butt

Try a totally different sim. I would suggest either Hanson or Allana; both are stable sims. Where it says <type region name> enter either one of those names. It might be that your home sim/last location are the same thing and could be messed up.

In the case that neither works, it would be helpful to know what version of Second Life you're running, and which operating system you're using. (Windows XP, Vista, Mac, etc)

What is your home location? We can go check it out to see if the sim is down or jacked up somehow.
