I wonder if any one can help. Was involved in a Club in SL and had items inside. I was not the club owner or renter. However, one day could not get to said club. Turns out either the SIM or land parcel was sold, and club and all contents are gone.

Items have not returned to invent.

1. If someone buys a SIM or parcels with things on, can they just delete the items?
2. Should items go back to owner automatically?

Assuming new owner does not care, is there anything i can do to try to get the items back.

Thanks

Golden

LL will generally just take a sim offline if it's not paid up.

Depending on how long it's been offline they may still have a saved state for it though so best thing would be to open a ticket and asked if they're willing to restore it for a day so you can get your things back.

Aditionaly, if the sim or parcel got sold then the next owner can not delete the items but they can return it, usualy this happens in one batch, look in your lost and found folder for things that got returned recently, most likely the icon looks like a stack of boxes, you have to go to a sandbox to rez the combined items and then take them back one by one.
Sometimes it can take a bit before things show up in lost and found, manualy erasing the cache can help there.

The new owner could have asked LL to just hand them a sparkly new default sim state though.

In my experience, it's more like 15 minutes, but still, it's worth asking for.
