No, and it is unlikely in the extreme there ever will be. No iPod product could ever hope to habdle SL's graphics requirements. All but their very highest, top-end desktop and Laptop computers struggle here.

{EDIT} I guess I misread what you were asking for. If it is just an IM client, then maybe.{/EDIT}

Yes there is one called sparkle in the app shop, its pretty stable on my iphone.

Thanks Shu! I've been looking for an app like that without luck until you shared the name of that one. It seems to work quite nicely.

Same here (though I hadn't really been looking). I Bought it last night and it does seem to work as advertised. It's nice to have a back channel way to get communications out when you're away or your regular net goes down. I'm very happy someone asked. Thanks.

Well i have tried both sparkle n ajaxlife on the iphone, though sparkle is five bucks more than ajax (free), it really is more stable n seems to work better on the iphone.

Although ajax works really well as a chat only viewer on computers where u can't run normal SL.

I believe you appear as the infamous cloud when logged on with Sparkle. I plan on checking that out for myself when I get back into town. The only cost involved for me was the $4.99 for the download. Just need to find free hotspots when I'm out and about like now.
