Missing names

I've occasionally seen names of avs missing in their profiles, IM window, and elsewhere. But the past two days it has been quite frequent.

- When someone purchases something from my shop: " has paid you L$..."

- Search on a person's name and it comes up, but the Profile's Name field is blank.

- IM window with no name in the tab or upper left.

Anyone else seeing this? (hmm... "NOT seeing this" to be more accurate.)

Yep, been seeing it.

I've been noticing it a lot too. So often that it doesn't even bug me anymore unless the payment amount is unusual.

The 1.25 server version has been having a difficult and lengthy birth process, but when it finally gets straightened out it has a fix for the ping-pong camera in it, which I await with bated breath.

It's difficult to ride a unicycle in a drill team with the camera ping-pong.

no name..when i highlight and go to see their profile...the name doesnt fill in there either...

prim info (creator and owner names) can take long to load, or dont load at all.

Also there is a gliched script and a glitched prim that have NO CREATOR, llGetCreator() returns NULL_KEY.
Are there any AGB issues with their existence alone?

Yea this bug has been going around since the first time they tried to update server 1.25. They have to run updates on the central servers. and this is when it started messing up. And just yesterday they started the pilot roll again requiring central server updates again. So a lot more may be seeing it again . I would imagine once they get totally switched over to 1.25.whatever version this will go away. Till then its gonna be touch and go.

Hi there, I noticed this issue also,

it began with payments that stayed blanc.

From today also names and group members are blancing out.

It is not a thing of rezzing it, or to wait that they are shown,
they just not seem to be there.....

It seems to me, that not all avis are under it,
cause most of my friends do not have this.

This is the most unusual aspect of the bug, and I noticed it as I IMed several customers today:

1. Open an IM pane from a blank-name avie's profile. The name doesn't show up in the IM window, either.

2. Try to open a new IM pane from another blank-named avie: it goes to the same pane. So you have two different people in a single IM pane.

and so on... At one point today, I had five different people, who should have been in five different IM tabs, all in the same one.

I think when you hit the pane's Profile button, it goes to the most recent avie, but that's rather difficult to confirm w/o the names.

I watched as someone picked off my money tree. The blue pay screen merely said, "You paid $1L" with each pick.. not "You paid Avatar Xyz $1L"

But... If you go to your 'Transaction History' in 'Your Account' the name will show.
At least for me...

Now I see it for my name. And not only in my profile: all the items I created are blank for the creator, and all items I own are blank for the owner.
