in addition, once you are finished editing your appearance click 'save as' and name the new shape something meaningful.
if you merely click 'save' (rather than 'save as') you will overwrite the original shape and never be able to revert to it if need be. Hi Phil ... to do that you need to use a prim avatar, like a giant robot or a small furry (tiny). the human av has too narrow of a size constraint to achieve that.

to be a giant you'll need to use a prim avatar that's using a special animation override, i beleive there is a freebie transformers one around, i'd recomend doing a search and seeing if you can find it. i'v seen others, godzilla, sentinals from x-men, macro-furries, dragons are another one, plenty around.

So your final Nimbus Score is 8.15, a quite remarkable achievement for a biped. Congratulations Crunch, you should be very proud. ![]() |

Building size. ahhh i see ![]() you can shrink pretty small using that method .... but to make yourself HUGE you need to a prim avatar . You can buy tiny AV's and over sized AV's in SL ranging from pretty cheap to pretty expencive . Use search ( bottom of your screen ) ... Go to the classified tab and enter key words ... Tiny... Avatar ..... and so on . Allso worth looking for " Grendels children " ( sp? ) for some crazy Avatars . good luck and have fun ![]() |

human appearing avatars cannot be super tall or super short.
you do need a prim avatar. i think you can find the transformers av at the nci freebie place or yadnis. or possibly in any box called 'free avatars'. human, robot, furry or whatever, to make it bigger or smaller than the maximum the sliders on the edit appearance window will allow, you will need to use special animations and replace regular bodyparts with body parts made of prims
for the so called tinies, the anims fold the limbs on themselves, and in some cases Invisiprims are used to hide the bits of the original body that poke out of the prim parts. For micros usually the av is completly folded on itself and tucked away either underground or high above, and hidden inside an invisiprim, and the whole body is made of a single object, often composed of several micro-prims (prims tortured (tweaked, often in unusual ways) to be smaller than 1 centimeter). For Macros, usually the animation moves the av up several meters and keeps the limbs straight (not folding the knees and elbows) and the propperly sized attachments go on each limb usually those type of extreme sized avatars are less flexible than regular avatars, macros and tinnies can't bend the knees and elbows, and micros that aren't completly stiff most of the time are rare to see somthing I noticed on most macros is that often they get a caricatured body proportion, with the arms and legs disproportionatly longer than the torso, this is probably done to be able to use the original sholder and hips articulations a while back someone figured out how to hack animation files to deform the av beyond the limits imposed by the edit appearance sliders, but perhaps due to it's hacky nature, I haven't seen anything done with that technique other than prank stuff and tests |

one category I haven't seen mentioned yet is micro avs but to be fair those aren't realy avatars, the real avatar mesh is crushed in a ball and placed below the ground, often aditonaly hidden using an invisi prim, the visable part of the avatar is a very small doll sometimes riding a segway that is not animated in any way.
the smallest you can get an av that way is a ball or cube of 1x1x1 cm unless you use unsuported but alowed nanoprims. edit: oops overlooked the post above me mentioning micros |

Even though ive never done any type of editing/modding like that, i can actually see what your saying. unfortunately im a nublet, so ill never be able to attempt that or have the time to try. Does anyone know where to FIND those avatars in particular, ive already tried a few searches. |
