aparently a payment bounced (that time someone used my account to empty my bank account) and my bank sorted it all out, LL didnt want anything 2 do with it and didnt want 2 know, and now cus the banks on their case they disable my account and don't even bother to email me or contact me in any way.

and after spending an hour on a long distance call to some muppit they said i need 2 call another number, FFS what a crappy company,

i thought britain was bad for shitty companies but fuk me, LL is bad. they would be shut down over here in a matter of weeks if they continued like that

are all companies like that in the states?how the hell do u guys put up with this shit. i know that brit companies are natoriously unhelpfull and rude but never as bad as LL

you are upset because something that is now the result of someone stealing from you is making things difficult for you

Your payment to LL naturally bounces, so, as is customary in these situations, they try again for the payment

If people piss them about payment-wise (ie bounced payments) they shouldn't have to look at each individual case and think, oh, he's a nice guy, I'll leave his account open. No, for security (theirs and yours) they disable the account

I imagine, if your post is anything to go by, that you were less than respectful in your dealings with the "muppet" on the phone

I got that message occasionally when I was forced to hitchhike on somebody elses unsecured wireless ( just moved house and no internet connection )

I found shaking my fist at the anonymous owner of the wireless sometimes helped...

But what helped the most was buying one of those 3g widget things which is working absolutely fine for me wihle I wait for BT to get their act together.

(Admittedly I have direct line of site to a mobile tower from my flat - less than 500m and no buildings so I have a very clean signal)
