I'm in the beta grid now, and spinning around rapidly by clicking my avatar and dragging to spin the avatar is causing flickery display problems on the side of the screen I'm spinning toward.
I think I've seen this in the other viewers too.
Anyone recognize this symptom?

That sounds like a vsync (vertical sync) problem. Check out your video card settings.
You can manually set it yourself (on or off) and there is the option to let the application decide.
Having vsync enabled is best. It means your video cards waits for the monitor to finish displaying each frame before switching to the next. Having it disabled means you'll get that weird tearing effect and get really really angry.

It could also be that you're moving the camera faster than the object culling algorithm can keep up with. I often crash when I rotate around my avatar too quickly.

I used to crash a lot if I spun my camera real quick so I try not to do that, but even so it hasn't happened in awhile.

When I spin around fast, the room starts this weird flipping thing where is keeps spinning a little then snaps back in place. It does this over and over.
