Amount of L$ at LindeX going down

For a couple of days now I noticed the amount of L$ offered on LindeX going down. The average exchange rate was kinda stable for months at 265, with all time at least some 30 mio L$ offered at this rate. Over the last few days it went down to now less than 6 mio L$ offered. I doubt that a) the sellers suddenly stopped cashing out or b) the buyers suddenly started to buy 3 times of what they bought in the past.

What could be the reason for that? Did LL stop pushing L$ into the market themselfs? As someone who has to sell L$ every month to pay island fees I wouldn't mind the average exchange rate going down to 264 or even lower.

Lots of stuff happening these days...

The USD is worth less and less and the L$ is dependand on the USD.
If you pay your SL in EUR, CAN and other foreign (to SL) currencies, SL becomes cheaper by exchange rate, but worse to gain your foreign currency from.

Europeans can buy more, US-citizen can`t...

I dont really understand all this, but if someone can tell me in laymans terms i would very much appreciate it. I am about to cash out my lindens in the next few days about quater mil, what price should i set then if i sell via slexchange? Of course i want the best price, but if its only a saving of one or two dollars then i may as well sell via lindex. Cheers, if anyone can give me some pointers.

If I were you, I would wait it out a few days. LL has kept the linden very stable for many months now. This may just be a glitch.

But the difference between 265 and 264 for a quarter million lindens works out to about 3 dollars difference.
