I have a former client on Second Life that I produced a Lettermark for his business as well as a full build complete with dance poles and art at 25% down-payment. When the invoice was submitted to the client, he refused to pay the remaining 75% simply, as he states, because he does not want to pay that much for services he'd already agreed to and is now utilizing.
I would like to report his business practices so that no one else falls into the same trap, providing services with no payment. Is there a second life group or service that provides something like that with an updated list and investigation, or are the Lindens the only ones who take care of that?
I know that the Lindens don't much care to get involved in business issues or money practices. I was wondering if there was some kind of resident enforced business reputation group that reports on those kinds of things.

All you can do is name and shame on a third party website -- nothing officially here.
Why did you transfer the full build to him if he had not paid yet?

I never build anything without a safety script in it in case the deal goes bad and I need to... remove the product from use.

Just place the same items for sale at $1L on XStreetSL.com. Or buy a small parcel right next door to his store and set a vendor up there selling the item for zero. Use it as a promotional item for your scripting tools.
The Better Business Bureau in SL Became a protection racket and closed its doors a few years ago. No one can figure out how to make that agency work in SL without using its power for evil.

I'm sorry this happened to you, Dove. There is no resident-run "Better Business Bureau", although such a thing has been tried a few times.
The problem with such things is that they get gamed in various ways. Competitors or disgruntled ex-partners try to use them to blacklist perfectly innocent businesses, or the people who run the group use it to make their friends look good and their friends' competitors look bad.
