ok, I use the new viewer, 1.22 I believe... And after a while my whole pc locks up... I have to hard start.. Often while I am editing something or tping.... or hell just standing there......

I uninstalled it and installed 1.21 and although I am back to the pallatized texture work around I seem to stay online without the constant crashing...

If there a problem with this viewer? 1.22

Also, I hear you speak often of other viewers to use can someone tell me where I can download them and give those a try?

There are viewers other than the official Linden Lab current release you could try, such as the Cool Viewer, or the Nicholaz viewer, or the Imprudence viewer, and several others. Those alternate viewers can be found by googling for

second life alternate viewers

which will lead you to a page in the Second Life wiki ( wiki.secondlife.com) with a very logical title:

Boy Lane who answered in a post above offers the Cool Viewer operation. http://my.opera.com/boylane/blog/ .

If your whole computer is locking up you may have an overheating problem.

You might want to open your box if it's a desktop and check that your fans are all clean and spinning freely.

If you give your system specifications that might help people make useful suggestions.
