I wander Lonely as a Cloud - sl borked again

Over four hours now since the network issues started. Here in Britain I've been logging in for three hours hoping to see my av as more than a cloud, hoping to open Inventory, hoping to be able to tp. Wish I knew what these mysterious network issues are that they're STILL trying to fix after four hours. Ahh well, work soon, just have to hope things are fixed when I get home this evening.

I WANDERED lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
(I have a skybox at 650m)
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
(can't tp to see the flowers and can't rez them from Inventory)

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
(yup, night at home last time I logged in)
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay: 10
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
(up at 650 looking down I see the glittering sea)
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
(waiting for the network issues to be fixed)
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
(that will only happen AFTER they've fixed the network issues and I no longer wander lonely as a cloud!)

Anyone got any idea how many people are affected? Is it from any particular part of the world. Is it sl or are there wider internet problems?

Changing your active group can help force your client to render your (and others around you) avatar.

Totally borked here - cloud on my main av, shape rezzed on my alt but all textures were grey. Nothing much seems to be working. I'm in Australia and not having any other network issues.

Thanks Alzarin. I didn't know that, but I suspect that the problem is to do with the network issues. As my other thread says, if you're a cloud on the Main Grid, try the Beta Grid. That seems to be working fine. When u get to the Log In screen, hold down SHIFT+CTRL and hit G. This opens a little window at the bottom with a drop down list of the Grids. U need to choose Aditi.
