Hello ^-^ So I recently purchased some land, a tad more then I'm currently using, so Iv decided to rent some of it off. But my main question is, What is the best way of doing this? Ill be splitting it 3 ways, and giving them each there own parcel(Although I clearly want to stay as the "Owner" of the parcel, so I deed it to a group) Iv got that all done and setup, but my main question now is do I want to have a different group for each Tenant and then ill just be the owner of each group, Or one big group for all 3 parcels? I was going to do it with one group, but then I started thinking that they would start screwing with each others stuff. and if they wanted to have staff members it could start getting crazy, so Generally what is the normal way of doing this?

It all depends on if your land is mainland or estate land, at mainland groups is the only way to do it, estateland you could "sell" them the land fr 0L$ and make arangements with the estate owner to have the land set back in your name when a renter leaves.
As for one group or more groups depends on if you want them to use the number of prims a parcel suports or share the prims among the 3 parcels so there is no link between land size and prim count, yes they could mess with eachothers stuff if it is in one group but it is your job as landowner to resolve disputes anyway so enforcing not messing with eachothers stuff is not that much more work.
One big warning, renting out land is NOT easy money, it takes a lot of work and financial risk so be prepared to spend a lot of your time managing the rentals.

Hmm its Private land, and im only splitting it 3 ways(Considering taking one spot for myself, but not sure yet) so there shouldn't be that many problems at least (Apposed to say a full mall or apartment building) And as for money, well at the moment im sitting on paying 44 USD a month for tier, so meh its better then having to dish out cash each month Even if I just break even I would be more then happy

I wouldn't worry about them messing with each others stuff, just laydown a few simple rules in their rental agreements and most people paying moneyto youafter setting up their own home aren't going to be a pain to their neighbours. There was anoyher thread somewhere recently about rentals you should read. Being such a small scale you are in for some workkeeping track of payments etc, it may not warrant the expense of a big league rental box system. Getting tennants is the hard bit with such an oversupply of land.
