I have seen several people emote using a green bubble rather than the regular chat bubble. I have been wanting to emote like that in special occasions, but don't have the first clue as to where to begin...any advice?

It is done using an object or HUD. THey aren't emoting, the item is. Excite! products are one of the most common that do this

Emote Lesson #2

I use a Greeter. It cost about 100L and you set the distance and the message you want to project. It detect the presence of someone within that radius and sends out the greeting in public. The greeting only happens once unless of course that customer leaves the radius and returns. My greeting is something like...

JuileAnne Says Welcome to Club JuilieAnne and come watch me dance,

I put the comma at the end becuase my greeter will add the name of the avatar at the end of my greeting so it will look like this....

JuileAnne Says Welcome to Club JuilieAnne and come watch me dance, BigJim Brown

(if that is the characters name)

If that is what your interested in, I can send you a LM in world.

Acutallly, I don't do this stuff but I read alot about it!

Thanks JulieAnne, that would be great too for when I set up a store one day. Though at the moment I am particularly interested in something to interact directly with an individual in an intimate conversation

If you really want to have an intimate conversation with an individual, speak for yourself, don't let some mindless scripted object do it for you.

I just like the green bubbles, for some reason they seem more sublime.

You can change the color of any and all of your different chats. Just use preferences and the text chat tab. Make everything green if you want. :)
