Hello, since I upgraded to the latest viewer, my graphics have been acting funny. It seems to be alpha textures and sculpties. http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab203/MrCalebDoobie/fdupSL.jpgThe boxes in the photo are supposed to be invisible, and the gray bars should be trees. Anyone else having this issue, and what did you do to correct it? p.s. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn't help. Thx

Are you uploading the textures yourself? I have noticed a problem that whenuploading TGA-24bit they are still retaining an alpha channel.

Wave your mouse pointer over the objects. If that doesn't bring them in and they are yours with mod perms, edit them, that is, click to edit, then wait. If that doesn't bring them in, last resort: clear cache, preferably by finding your viewer's cache on your hard drive and doing a manual delete of the contents. Log in and wait for SL to download into your cache again. And hope.

In Debug Settings, try setting the following value to 4 or 5: RenderVolumeLODFactor
You'll find "Debug Settings" on the advanced menu - then search for the name above and change the value.
I know this helps with some sculpties, but no clue if it will help with this issue or not.
Sorry, I have not a clue on the 'alpha' problem.

Looks like corrupted texture cache to me. Did you already try clearing cache (from Edit / Preferences / Network) and relogging? [ETA: Which Govindira already suggested, had I read more carefully. )

I also noticed that the edge of the prims making up a couple of palm trees I had were showing as in your picture. I'm using Emerald viewer which allows you to set transparency to 100% so I went through the process of edit/select texture and making all the offending edges 100% transparent. That made them appear as they should. Not sure about the boxes though, and what caused the change I don't know - suspect server updates may be a contributing factor.
