I need to know if mute works on voice.. i have a friend that has a problem with the island next door having 10 or more on voice, can you mute a whole island

From: Dean Snowpaw island next door Uhh...as in Sim, or physical island? This may seem irrelevant, but I promise, it isn't. If it's an entirely different sim, I don't believe it should be possible to hear their voicechat, at all. If it's the same sim, but a different land plot, he should still be able to disable their voice chat from reaching him. Click World > About Land, and choose the Media tab. The bottom section is the 'Voice' options. If he selects 'Use a private spatial channel', then voice chat should only be heard from within that same parcel, rather than the entire sim. As for muting entire islands...not exactly. You can mute everybody on it individually, but I don't think it's possible to do a bulk mute. I could be wrong.

I just turn sound off in a case like that.
If you need to talk to someone else on voice, both tp elsewhere and go to voice IM.
