So I know some think the whole firstbling thing ridiculous but I happen to like it and wear my little teeny SL charm all the time...

Any input on if they will be affected? I have emailed the company repeatedly but anyone that has ever dealt with them knows what an adventure that is. I have purchased repeatedly from them, they have never disappointed me- but the communication lag is well.. reminiscent of SL...

yes a neat solution, Linden labs can claim copyright on big SL's and we the residents can claim rights to just the tweeny weeny ones :)

I don't think wearing an item in RL baring the SL logo will get you in trouble, it's the selling and making profits from another company's logo that might get them in hot water. Unless you are also selling them?

How can you get in trouble for something LL is pushing themselves, on their own Website?
Oh wait. LL = Linden Logic.....

Don't think you should bother worrying about it.

They sold it to you - Its Logo-wear

Yes- I meant purchasing from them - the Firstbling people. But yeah- I guess if it is on the SL website it should be ok :).

No I don't sell them in world :) But a nice fellow Resident did give me a freebie one I wear in SL at times - very cool.

I ordered an item from them and it was never delivered. Some emails were sent but I never got an answer. I will have to cancel the credit card transaction now. Is that site a fraud? Or do they stop working because of the copyright thing?

Are you directly profiting financially by wearing it? No.

End of problem.

It's like wearing a shirt with Mickey Mouse on it. If it was made by a licensee, then everyone is happy. If it was made by someone doing bootlegs, the bootlegger is liable for prosecution. In neither case is you, the consumer, liable for wearing the product*
