My stats window has moved slightly off screen and is driving me nuts. I can not grab the top of the frame to select and drag it back on screen. Anyone have a remedy for this?

that's how it is suppose to be, you can either open or shut it. however, if that's not the case I've always had this problem too.

The default position is top left. I used to be able to move it by clicking the top and drag it to position. It appears I shoved it a little too far and cannot reach the top bar.

I'm not sure if this is what your talking about but I know sometimes in edit mode I've accidently changed the size of my screen..

Making your screen small then larger will usually bump panes back into view. A relog does too.

I get a similar problem sometimes with HUDs being off-screen (usually if I've resized my screen). The easiest way to fix it is to edit another HUD that I can see (or just rezz a cube and attach it as a HUD to the centre of the screen and edit that). When you're in "Edit" mode, scrolling the mouse wheel will allow you to zoom your current view window - you get a red outline showing where the visible screen is.
Anything off screen then comes into view, you can edit that instead and drag it back inside the red outline. When you come out of edit mode - it's all back again. _____________________

I have tried re-sizing my screen, windowed and no-windowed. Cleared the cache, reinstalled the client, disabled explorer to no avail.
I have peered through the SL folders looking for an .ini file that might show the Statistics panel but have had no luck. It must be there somewhere. I can find no adjustments in the debug window either. Maybe I am just imagining that it used to be movable. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the default position? Is everyones' top right and not dragable? |

All I can say is it's always been at the top right and undraggable (<- phew, what a word) for me. Doesn't mean it's not possible (?), just never seen it anywhere else on my screen. Unless you're talking about the '3 lights' lag system ? |

The stats screen looks like a "console", similar to the texture console and the debug console (You can turn all these on via the Client/console pulldown, I think). I don't think any of them are draggable.

That IS the normal position of the stats..myou just can't move it (I wish you could....)-it's indeed undraggable!
I use it a lot and have arranged my HUDs accordingly._____________________

This is a great thing to know about, but unfortunately won't help the OP. The stats bar is part of the UI (like the menus), not a rezzable object. fwiw, my stats bar has always been in the position you show, and I can't move it either. . Yes, you're right - I skimmed the post too quickly and thought OP was talking about a HUD ![]() _____________________
