I have 528 square meters left that I can buy and keep my tier, but there is none available in the SIM I live in. Can I buy land elsewhere and still use those prims on my primary piece of land?
Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone! No. Sharing prims only works within the same region. The parcels do not have to be adjacent, though. You may either talk one of the other landowners in the region out of some land or sell your current parcel and buy a larger one elsewhere or, of course, just stay put till something becomes available in the region.

Hey Ricky! Thanks....oh well. No one's selling near me that I know of. I'll just have to wait and see.

They don't have to be near you, just on the same sim. IM every other land owner in your sim and ask them if they would sell you 528. Maybe one will respond.

Hi Royce! *waves* Well, sometimes you can be surprisingly successful if you just make them a (reasonably priced) offer. Something in the 10-20% above current market value ballpark. ... and if that fails just show them the shooting gallery and remark on what could happen if they don't sell.

I live in Baku...my neighbors are w-hat. They don't scare easy. : ) Nice folks actually, I IM'd the one girl about buying the huge piece of land right beside me that they own. She told me they've owned it since 2004, and have no intention of leaving. : ( Great land too. But yeah, I'm gonna IM the other neighbors tonight just to see. Thing is, I really don't want to buy land from a third party, I was lucky enough to buy direct from LL so no covenant or anything. I know...beggers can't be choosers.

On the mainland you always own land directly (and pay tier to LL). There is no reason why you could not buy ML land from anybody. If you take over, there will not be any intermediary. Covenants and "ownership" which is in fact renting are only relevant for Estate Land, i.e. private islands.

Royce, just to clarify a point. Your 528 spare tier will only apply to mainland land, not Private Island. Private Island is an entirely different ballpark. As such, there would be no covenant to contend with with buying that available 528 mainland.
