My hubby's SL experience is being unhappily destroyed!! When he attends the club where I work, and he says it doesn't happen anywhere else, whether he's using a dance ball, my chimera, or a dance in his inventory, it'll stick, and he'll stand there just bobbing his head up and down for a minute, and then MAYBE it'll start him dancing again.
He's tried turning off all other animations and overrides, but it still happens.
Does anyone have a clue why this might be happening?

What exactly is happening? Is he NOT dancing? Or is he dancing weird? Or is he unable to stop dancing? I would try taking off all attachments. Right click and detach all. I think there is some scripted object on him that might affect his animations.

If it lasts more than four hours, see your doctor...

From: Lee Ponzu If it lasts more than four hours, see your doctor... LMAO!! It's a conflict between the 'stand' animation his AO is running and the dance animation from whatever dance machine he's tryin to use. The head bobbing is because the stand animation has high enough priority to control his body pose, but the head and neck joints aren't specified in that animation. That means the next lower priority animation running (the dance) has control over those joints not specified by the stand animation. If you look closely, his head movements will exactly mirror the head movements of someone else using that same dance machine, IF the machine is set up to have people switch dances together (like line dancing)(almost all chims are this way). Not all AO's turn off the stand animations when you disable them from the HUD. Some designers include basic AO's in shoes too! Only way around it is to detach all overriders, or type ao off in open chat before he dances. ao on reenables it.

Thanks all! He found the animation in something he was wearing! Once he took it off, problem solved and he's a MUCH happier camper!!
